Canon Stuck On Registering The Printer Driver Install Update
Hi all, it seems I'm having some issues installing drivers after a failed attempt at installing Virtual PC. Intel drivers won't install the install process just hangs and neither will my Canon MP printer drivers also hangs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Did this solve your problem? Driver installation hangs in Windows 7 Pro 64bit edition.
The problem relates only to our Vista machine where printing works fine wirelessly but I can only scan if I use a USB cable. If I look in the registry, it is clear the scan driver has not been registerd and this manifests itself by showing no scanner entry in the Canon IJ Network Scan Utility. I have tried reloading the Canon software a number of times without success. The last time I loaded the software with AVG disabled in case this was interferring with the installation process.
