Please login or register. Home Help Search Login Register. When I install software my computer cant recognize my USB hardware. I try 3 same peaces and all are the same I'm getting exactly the same. I've tried them on XPpro and Win The software on the installation cd seems to be for something completely different so I'd downloaded the bluetooth drivers from msi's website but still no luck.
The blue LED on the dongle is flashing, the manual says on is connected, off is disconnected, but makes no mention of flashing. My device manager shows a load of bluetooth com ports and a bluetooth entry in usb controller, but it also shows up as 3 unknown devices. Any suggestions would be welcome. Ihave had similar cases Another inconvenient part is that when uninstalling the device does not fully uninstall the device Can somebody tell MSI about this coz their website doesn't even have an online tech support for some of their products?!?!
I have the same problem. I can't figure it out either, I think I've tried almost everything. Anybody already got a solution? So, I am not the only one with that problem. The CD enclosed is for WiFi adaptors and not for the bluetooth. I also tried the downloaded software with no success. I did send the problem to MSI-support; see the answer below: When installing the Bluetooth Software 1. There in no Bluetooth device in the system overview. With the Bluetooth Software 1.
Please wait for MSI web site update. I have managed to get my PC2PC to work. The instal crashed and yet it is working now. However I keep getting BTstackserever errors. Any idea whats happening? And I'm having a problem with mine also Installs ok in device manager but wont "talk" to my mobile at all, so though I'd update driver acceot I need a security key form widicom, so I have t key in the Mac ID of the BT dongle, but it tells me it's wrong, even though I am looking exactly where they tell me to.
And no I'm not putitng spaces or anything else either. The CD in the 3: I could then install and use all of them with that CD. Looks like I am not the only one with this problem Installed the older software Came on CD all goes well until you restart - computer is unable to detect usb device.
Unable to install necessary drivers Code 31 I thought that the dongle itself could be faulty - but after installing the new updated software it worked fine - except I needed the BD address in order to get a security key- which can only be found from the older software - doh! No matter what I do - uninstalling - reinstalling - trying to manually install drivers etc - nothing works.
If anyone has managed to get around this please let me know. Hi if your computer can not install the dongel after software upgrade ,uninstall all related software,in system ,uninstall all usb controllers and hub providing you are running xp restart the computer, during post-up acces bios and disable usb support, let windows load, power down again ,enable usb support in bios ,windows will now discover usb controllers again and install them, run bluetooth software version 1.
Power down the compurer and THEN connect the dongle. Oh miracle of modern science it is now discovered abnd installed ,providing you left your cdrm with msi software in de drive. I tried it three times on and it worked everytime. Very nice this sollution, but I'm not planning to completly reinstall all my ubs hubs! I think it's time for MSI to react! I've have red a lot of forums all with the same problems with reinstalling BT dongles! I'm really getting pissed! MSI sell this stuff, but doesn't help at all when you have trouble!
Tommorow I'm going to call the dutch MSI and try to find I've they are trying to solve this problems! I post the answer, when I get one! I am getting a message which says "Your device could not be installed, an error occured, the required section could not be found in the INF" Any ideas? I have been having the same problem as many of you with the "Your device could not be installed, an error occured, the required section could not be found in the INF" issue.
I have managed to solve it, on my PC XP anyway. When it asks for the dongle to be inserted near the end of the setup click the 'Close cross' in the top right to ignore the message. Continue the installation and reboot. Chooe Update Driver, then select "Install from a list or specific location". Click Next and select "Don't search. I will choose the driver to install.
Hope this helps others! Read the other thread, just disconnect your computer from the internet! Remove your network cable, or your wireless card! Hi to all BToes specialists and Bluetooth specialists, I had no problem to install the dongle but after the installation I lost my Internet connection which was on another Network card which is connected to a cable modem. I would like to have the shared Internet Connection through an Ethernet card and use the Internet through my notebook with an Bluetooth connection between my notebook and the XP Computer?
But if the XP Computer looses allready the internet connection after the installation of the bluetooth adapter - this is not yet possible. I would be happy to get some news about this problematic Thanks in advance Martin. I bought this Btoes dongle yesterday but failed to install it.
I could not see any Bluetooth services in the first step of the Bluetooth software installation. I have confirmed the hardware driver is installed properly in the Device Manager. I have also disconnected my internet connection during the driver installation. My PC is using Win Has anyone experienced this problem before?
