Hello, I have a problem with the new build, PC doesn't wake up from sleep, I tried everything you can possibly think about and I narrowed it down to my last chance: Windows auto search for drivers didn't find it, Intel Driver utility didn't find it either So I'm lost everything I read redirect to problems with laptops and they all have their fix on the manufacturer site, but this is a desktop and so Hey guys, thank you for your help So I downloaded and tried to install the application in the link oscer1 posted, I tried to make the device recognize the path and auto install, i tried installing manually, i tried uninstalling the device then installing manually, reboot each attempt and I get the same error every time, which is: AMDA00 Interface The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

I can't find it in the device manager I shall list my attempts to fix subsequently. My problem is this: When I check my device manager, Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery is missing, thus the battery bar on the bottom is also gone, and the box for enabling the battery bar is greyed out.

Where can I download an ACPI driver that works with Windows 7?
If you switch to W7 64 bit, there is It is only good for W7 64 bit. If you can't turn it off in the BIOS, and you can't install W7 64 bit, then you can just ignore the uninstalled device, now that you know what it is for. Like I said, all that device does is allow the bitlocker funtion to work in W7 Enterprise and Ultimate, W8.
