adobe pdf printer driver plug in
I have the latest version of Acrobat pro and it is updated with the latest patches. The printer driver does not show and I am unable to print a PDF from either another application or by right clicking on a document and selecting export to PDF. When I do right click it gives me the option to repair but the repair doesn't make any difference. For some reason there are 2 adobe printers that show up in Word when I try to print. Seems a bit of a mess, but there's nothing extraordinary about this PC and it doesn't have any malware installed. An important bit of information that is missing is your version of Acrobat. If it is AA XI, then be sure to do the updates. If you have other versions of Acrobat, then it may be a compatibility issue. Sorry for bumping this but I was hoping someone could help me before I go for a complete wipe and reinstall of Windows. If I had to guess I'd say the installer is detecting remnants of an old install and not installing the PDF printer.
