I know there is a BIOS floating around out there that is So why would I not query if it is going to be of any benefit to my card. I would believe having the latest BIOS would always be of some benefit. Why then go through Sapphire for these updates if they are available on the web As for BIOS updates on the Sapphire website - I don't believe they facilitate it - probably because of the many product variances.

In fact, i had an issue with one of my vapor-x cards that needed a bios upgrade to fix it, had i not asked then i would have been none the wiser, as, like i have stated, sapphire do not advertise that there are bios updates for their cards, even if it is of benefit or not.
I accept that you guys may feel a bios upgrade is unnecessary but i'll determine that for myself once i have heard from the sapphire tech's.
